Note: After kicking the road trip off with a tough loss in Nashville the Jets have turned things around with back to back wins including a 4-1 defeat of the Ducks yesterday afternoon. The Jets have won five of their last six and sit just two points back of the Blues for first in the Western Conference. There won’t be any time to rest however as they flew into San Jose and will play the Sharks tonight at SAP Center with a 9 pm CST puck drop.
Note II: The good times also continued last night for the farm club as Manitoba continues to win picking up their fifth straight victory (first time they’ve done that since return of AHL hockey to the province) and ninth game of last ten in a 3-1 win over defending champion Grand Rapids. They also play tonight although it is against Central Division rival Admirals in Milwaukee. Puck drop is at 6 pm CST.
Note III: Be sure to tune into the Illegal Curve Hockey Show at 9 am for three hours of Winnipeg Jets and NHL hockey talk on TSN 1290 Winnipeg.
