Note II:  The Moose concluded their six game road trip in California yesterday afternoon with a 4-1 loss against the Barracuda in San Jose.  Despite the loss it was a successful road trip for Manitoba as they won four games and lost two and find themselves in 2nd place in the Central Divison.  They travel back home today as they get ready for four games (two vs Chicago, two vs Laval).

Jets news:

TSN:  The 7-Eleven Power Rankings – Jets continue to soar.  From seventh spot up to third for the local NHL franchise.

Winnipeg Sun:  Ken’s notebook.  Includes Hendricks on the board, Scheifele hits milestone, Byfuglien bounces back, Laine heating up and Perreault almost ready to return.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets come home proud and mostly victorious.  (Paywall).  The good feelings are back and the Jets will return to practice as they get ready for a week of home cooking as they continue to try to add points to their standings bank.
