Jets news:

The Athletic:  Can Patrik Laine keep converting on his shots at a superhuman rate?  (Paywall).  From what we have seen so far from the Finnish sniper it seems like we will only be seeing improvement in his sophomore season.  Although the shot rate could be difficult to maintain.  Murat Ates has more in this piece.

Winnipeg Sun:  Is pre-season a precursorBryan Little spoke on Tuesday about how he thought there was a team in Atlanta that went 6-0 in the pre-season (I checked they went 5-2 in 2007-08) but still didn’t make the playoffs.  While it can be important there is so much mixing and matching that the lines from the games may not carry over.
