Note:  In case you missed it the weekend was rather busy first with the news on Saturday that Tobias Enstrom had waived his NMC and then on Sunday the list from the NHL came out of who the Jets protected and who they left unprotected.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Dano, Enstrom likely targets for Golden Knights.  Ken provides his thoughts on all the occurred this past weekend as we look ahead to the big day on Wednesday.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Toby leaves himself in limbo.  (Paywall).  While it was a selfless move by the longtime Thrashers/Jets defenceman it has left him in a position to be selected by Vegas.

TSN:  Enstrom very appealing to Vegas.  (video).  With Tobias Enstrom agreeing to waive his no-movement clause, that allowed the Jets to protect three important forwards. Craig Button explains why that was beneficial for Winnipeg and why he’ll be very appealing to Vegas.

Illegal Curve:  A look at the Winnipeg Jets protected list for NHL Expansion to Vegas.  The list reveal was delayed by thirty minutes but in the end it wasn’t a major surprise who was protected and who was not.

I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
