Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets well represented at world hockey championships.  (Paywall).  Plenty of Jets players will be throwing on a sweater to represent their country.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Turbulence on MTS Centre re-entry expected, True North says.  (Paywall).  Their mistake, in my opinion, was trying to suggest the notion that “air quality” was partly a justification for the move.  May be a tad jam packed with all these folks in the building.

Metro Winnipeg:  Farewell to friend, Winnipeg TSN radio host Gary Lawless.  Splitting up is hard to do opines Hustler as his longtime radio pal leaves for Vegas.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  I’ve never heard of leaving an arena during a sporting event.  In the opening segment Rick Ralph discusses the change in policy at MTS Centre starting September 1 that will no longer permit re-entry for ticket holders.
