Note: The Jets will try to keep the good feelings rolling as they face the Devils tonight at the MTS Centre. The team has played well at home this season (7-4-0) and have displayed a somewhat Jekyll and Hyde personality in this regard. More positive news for Winnipeg is that Bryan Little could be making his return to the Jets lineup since game 1 after yesterday’s practice.
Note II: The Moose will get in a second straight day of practice at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford as they prepare to face the IceHogs to close out their three game road trip tomorrow night.
Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Little could provide big boost for Jets. While the young prospects have done an admirable job trying to fill in you just don’t replace a veteran centre like Little with a snap of the fingers and a call down to the AHL.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets haven’t turned corner yet. Both when the team went 4-0-1 and then followed that with an 0-5 stretch it was neither time to party or panic. Ted cautions that one W in the win column isn’t reason to celebrate just yet.
Winnipeg Free Press: Maurice wants his team to stay out of the penalty box. (Paywall). The stick infractions were a big problem last season and it won’t be good for business if that keeps rolling into this season. The big word of the day around the MTS Centre is ‘discipline’ and the team is going to have to show a lot more as they move along.
Winnipeg Free Press: Unpredictable kids require steadying influence of Jets vets. (Paywall). Coach Maurice has probably uttered the word ‘chaos’ more this season than he ever has before in his career. It appears with the return of the veteran players that he may start to be able to use ‘order’ in his vocabulary once again.
Winnipeg Free Press: Little declares himself ready to return to action. (Paywall). And we will know sometime later this morning if the Jets coaching/training staff agree with that assessment.
NJ.com: Hall ‘not rushing’ but close to playing again. Good news for Jets fans that the Devils winger won’t be making his return to the lineup quite yet.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg: Donvito Roundtable. TSN Jets Analyst Shane Hnidy looks back on the Jets win vs. Nashville, says that Jets Goalie Connor Hellebuyck is finding his stride and discusses the potential return of Bryan Little.
Moose news:
Official Manitoba site: DeSalvo proving the doubters wrong. I have been impressed by his game since he was brought up by the Moose late last season and that impression has only increased since I’ve seen him play this year. He has been one of the top producers for this Manitoba squad.
