The Hockey News: Jets pick Erik Foley is turning heads with Team USA. Winnipeg Free Press: Teppo, Teemu to suit up for alums. (Paywall). For those fans who still fondly recall the glory days (of sorts) from the Jets 1.0 years plenty of names on that alumni roster to make you wax poetic.
Winnipeg Free Press: Players abuzz over Heritage Classic. (Paywall). Blake Wheeler and Cam Talbot spoke about what it will mean to play in the game and both sound quite happy that they will be playing in October.

Metro news: Will Blake Wheeler be the next captain of the Winnipeg Jets? There is a good chance we see a ‘C’ on that jersey by the time the Heritage Classic comes around in October.
Illegal Curve: A close-up of the Winnipeg Jets Heritage Classic uniform. For those of you who weren’t able to make it to Portage and Main for the jersey reveal we get up close and personal with Blake Wheeler. Also includes details on the uniforms development.
Illegal Curve: Alumni rosters revealed. Began with some good natured joking between Kevin Lowe and Dale Hawerchuk before they got down to business and released some (not all) of the players who will be playing in the alumni game.
NHL.com: Inside look at the Winnipeg Jets. This link comprises three articles as the Jets were featured in the 30 in 30 on NHL.com which include 1) Hope takes flight thanks to Mark Scheifele’s commitment, Patrik Laine’s arrival. 2) Reasons for optimism, questions facing Jets and 3) Jets fantasy outlook.
ESPN: Most likely worst-to-first teams in 2016-17. (Paywall). Do the Jets have enough firepower to make that jump?
