Sportsnet:  It’s a waiting game for Auston Matthews, Patrik Laine.  Just two weeks to go before the waiting is all done and fans will know which name to put on the back of their jersey.

Sportsnet:  Laine – Being drafted first overall would be dream come true.  (video).  Patrik Laine says being drafted first overall in the NHL has been his dream since childhood, and seeing Finnish youngster Joonas Donskoi star for the Sharks makes him want his dream even more.

Toronto Sun:  Laine vs. Puljujärvi.  In the This And That section (midway down the article) on the scouts preference and it isn’t for the Finnish player most fans have been yammering about since end of April when Winnipeg moved up to the second spot.
