Jets (and prospective Jets) @ World Championship games:

Alexander Burmistrov and Russia take on Norway.  (No points for Burmistrov in the 3-0 win for Russia).

Mark Scheifele and Canada face France.  (One goal and player of the game honour for Mark Scheifele in the 4-0 Canada win).

Nikolaj Ehlers and Denmark vs. Kazakhstan. (The Dashing Dane scored a beauty in a 4-1 Denmark win).

Jets news:

TSN:  Matthews, Laine score in WHC action.  Once the World Championship ends in ten days something tells me that we will be reading about these two on a daily basis for the next month.

TSN: Babcock opens up about Matthews/Laine. (video).  Mike Babcock, who is at the World Hockey Championship, sits down with Darren Dreger to discuss how good he thinks Auston Matthews and Patrik Laine could be.

David Minuk

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
