Note:  Jets hit the ice today for a final skate in the Peg’ before departing for back to back games in Alberta on Monday (Edmonton) and Tuesday (Calgary).

Jets news:

Ottawa Sun:  Garrioch Sunday column.  Couple of Jets notes in here including nobody being happy with the state of negotiations and the Jets kicking tires on the Blue Jackets Ryan Johansen.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets centre piles up points in bunches.  (Paywall).  Little has been big during his time here in Winnipeg in putting up points and specifically doing so multiple times during a game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Paul Maurice gets tough on undisciplined penalties.  (Paywall).  First it was Adam Lowry, then Dustin Byfugilien and finally Jets captain Andrew Ladd received a rebuke from his coach.  The message has been sent.

Winnipeg Sun:  Time for the Jets to go streaking.  Number of topics touched upon including the top line’s big night, “housekeeping”, Wheeler’s four assists and a couple of notes to end the column.

Moose news:

Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel:  Pontus Aberg’s goal with 32 seconds left the difference.  It was the first loss of the season to the Admirals in a wild 7-5 contest for Milwaukee.  On a positive note for the Moose Chase De Leo pulled off a hattrick.
