Note:  After what feels like a long time the Jets finally return to the ice for a game.  Tonight a snarly Columbus Blue Jackets team rolls into town having just been torn apart by their head coach for dropping a 3-2 OT game at home to the Kings.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  The pros and cons of signing or trading Ladd and Buff… or keeping both.  (Paywall).  Where do you fall on the Byfuglien and/or Ladd wagon?  So far 80% of you would like to see Byfuglien for sure be kept (if given a choice of one of the two).

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets facing back-to-back games for seventh time.  (Paywall).  They don’t play the most in the league but they have certainly played quite a few early on this season.

Winnipeg Sun:  NHL ‘even better’ than Ehlers dreamed.  No chance he isn’t wearing a Jets jersey during the World Juniors.

CBC:  5 Things to watch as Jets go for 3 straight home wins.  Including 1)  Finishing with the East 2) Focus on Today  3) Big Bobrovsky, 4) Vancouver son and 5) Dim dynamic Dane.

Global News:  Jets goalie conundrum.  I think if I had to guess we will be seeing Connor Hellebuyck going for his fourth win in the NHL.

Globe and Mail:  Rookie goalie Connor Hellebuyck keeping cool as wins keep piling up.  He is young but he sure sounds mature for his age with his let nothing bother me attitude.  Probably a good one to have as a goalie.

Sportsnet:  NHL Roundtable.  (Video). George Stroumboulopoulos sits down with Montreal Canadiens owner Geoff Molson, Tampa Bay Lightning Chairman Jeff Vinik, and Executive Chairman of the Winnipeg Jets Mark Chipman about the stress that comes from being behind the scenes of a NHL team.

Jets audio:
