Note:  For the first time in awhile coach Maurice gets a back to back practice with his squad.  The Jets take on the Leafs tomorrow night at the MTS Centre.

Note II:  The Moose take on the Admirals tonight at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee at 7 pm.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets Notebook.  (Paywall).   Ed writes about the road trip, Wheeler’s absence from practice, Byfuglien and Chiarot being reunited, back to back practice and Lowry scrapping with Iginla.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Zen Master and Surfer Dude.  (Paywall).  Coach Maurice seemed quick to nip any sweeping generalizations that were going to be made about his goalie after one game in the bud.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets happy to have homestand against Leafs, Capitals.  (Paywall).  There will be plenty of home cooking and practice as the Jets play just two games this week at the MTS Centre.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets look to recharge after grueling month.  As I pointed out a few days ago the Jets finished with their worst November since relocation but they will have a fairly relaxed start to December.

Winnipeg Sun:  Byfuglien on trading block?  Ted addresses the rumour of the day.  He also looks Hellebuyck’s confidence, Hutchinson in tough and Iginla’s fight with Lowry.

Sportsnet: Trouba key to possible Islanders-Jets Hamonic trade.  Not sure many Jets fans want to see the young defenceman, who many still see as a long term piece for this team’s success, as a asset they would want to see dealt.

Illegal Curve:  Jets Practice Report.  A look at the lines and D pairs from yesterday’s skate at the MTS Centre.

Jets audio:

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler and Lawless.  Dennis Beyak discusses reports of developments on an Islanders-Jets trade, and why the Jets have to keep working hard to make their defensive system succeed.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Rona Roundtable.  Shane Hnidy recaps the Jets loss to Colorado on Saturday and looks ahead to Wednesday’s game vs. Toronto.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Rona Roundtable.  TSN.ca’s Scott Cullen talks about how Connor Hellebuyck is the Jets goalie with the most upside.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Paul Maurice scrum.   Status update on Blake Wheeler.  Is Hellebuyck confident because of the last game he played or is that just who he is? What does he want to see from Hellebuyck?  Does the December schedule look more favourable?  What are the signs that the road trip is wearing on the team?  On the team being disciplined.

Moose news:

Illegal Curve:  Manitoba Moose Report.  In this week’s report Peter takes an in-depth look at defenceman Brenden Kichton, takes a look back at the Moose past couple of games and provides an update on the amateur prospects in the system.
