Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets return home having completed the worst November since relocation as the team finished with just a 4-9-1 record.  They will have to hope the home cooking in December is more to their liking as the team plays seven of twelve games at the MTS Centre.

Note II:  Jets have the day off today.  Moose practice at 5 pm in Milwaukee.

Note III:  We have a few days left of #Movember and our boy Ezra Ginsburg has donated his face to raise funds and awareness.  In terms of raising funds he could always use a boost and if you are so inclined you can donate to his Movember cause here.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Good riddance November.  As I said above this was the worst November since relocation.  Tim also covers a few other topics including 1) short power 2) skipping around 3) not the same 4) stick struggles.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets fall to Avalanche.  Considering the way we saw the Jets play in Minnesota on Friday the follow up wasn’t quite up to that same standard.  Ken breaks down the contest.

Denver Post:  Chris Wagner’s third-period goal propels Avs to 5-3 win.  Read about the game from an Avalanche beat writer’s perspective.

Winnipeg Sun:  Scheifele, Oates to make sweet music?  Considering the skill set that Oates possessed during his playing days any techniques he can pass along to the young Jets centre would be worthwhile.

Sportsnet:  Why the Jets should trade Tyler Myers for Travis Hamonic.   Making an argument as to why the Jets should trade #57 to pick up the local product.

Avalanche 5 Jets 3:

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice post-game scrum.  Playing catch up in the 1st period. Was it as simple as skating that got them back into the game?  On the difficulty in passing the puck.  Why was it important to go back to Hutchinson?  Did they survive November?
