Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Improving Jets shot count a matter of keeping things simple.  (Paywall).  Some head scratching decisions were made on the ice in that last game against the Avalanche.  Seems clear that the Jets bench boss feels the problem is bigger than just one game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets are undoing last season’s hard work.  (Paywall).  Last year coach Maurice spent quite a bit of his time at the podium talking about defence and structure.  He mentioned this season that they would like to add an element of offence without taking away from the good team defence.  Unfortunately for the Jets that addition hasn’t gone as well as they would have liked.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets heading off on challenging road trip.  (Paywall).  Are we about to see a season defining road trip?

Winnipeg Sun:  Burmistrov growing into role.  Ken writes about the transition back to the North American game for the young centre as he tries to re-establish his game at both ends of the rink.

CBC:  Tough slogging ahead as Jets take flight for road trip.  With American Thanksgiving looming large it is time for this club to start stringing together some wins.

Sportsnet: 30 Thoughts.  Numbers 10 and 11 pertain to the Winnipeg Jets and Travis Hamonic as well as Dustin Byfuglien.

ESPN:  Top 25 NHL free agents for 2016.  (Paywall).  Byfuglien listed at 3.  Andrew Ladd listed at 6.

TSN:  Inadequate goaltending hurts Jets grade.  Craig Button is handing out his grades for Winnipeg.

Jets audio:

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice scrum.  Over the last seven days does he feel like they have gotten back to their game?  On the Washington Capitals.  Do they have a Western Conference mindset?  Turning possession into scoring chances.  Is he happy with how the team has converted possession into scoring chances (this season to date).

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Rona Roundtable.  Bill Watters discusses Jets loss to the Avalanche and tells Rick Ralph that he would not trade Jacob Trouba for Travis Hamonic.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show.  Shane Hnidy breaks down the Jets third period collapse and why Andrew Ladd has struggled early this season.
