Winnipeg Free Press:  Sad, sad song in Music City as humiliating disaster continues Jets’ struggles.  (Paywall).  While the Jets are just one point off where they were last season after 18 games, last year the losing streak happened early on as opposed to at this point.

Winnipeg Sun:  Rock bottom for Jets?  Just like when coach Maurice wouldn’t answer the question at the start of the trip (whether this was a season defining road trip and that was probably a good decision) he seemed similarly loathe to answer whether this was rock bottom for his squad.

CBC:  Jets embarrassed in Nashville.  Taking a look at 1) should we cut the goalies some slack; 2) shuffling the lines; and 3) frustration setting in.

The Tennessean:  Predators KO Jets after third-period brawl.  I’ve never seen a ref toss everyone on the ice into the penalty box.  It was wild.  Read about the game from a Nashville perspective.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Paul Maurice post-game scrum.  How can he put into words that 1st period?  How does his group pick themselves off the mat?  Is it rock bottom right now?  Has he been in a game when there have been that many 10 minute misconducts?  Does he feel bad for his goalies?
