TSN:  News and Notes.  Paul hits us with his latest column which includes stick game, OT strategy, coach speak, quick strike, fresh faces, importance of depth, coaching milestone, pit stops, props and increasing the audience.  

Winnipeg Free Press:  Drought has Jets searching for extra-man magic.  (Paywall).  Coach Maurice had the team working on the PP yesterday as they try to put the special back in special teams.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets look forward to series of big games in Central Division cities.  (Paywall).  It is going to be of utmost importance to add as many points into the standing banks as the team can during the next four road games (said captain obvious).

Winnipeg Sun:  ‘Defining road trip’ for Jets.  While it is important to win early in the season will it be the end of the world if the Jets don’t play a defining game?  Coach Maurice doesn’t seem to think so…or at least he won’t say if he thinks that.

Globalnews:  Jets return Patrice Cormier to Manitoba Moose.  With Andrew Copp getting back to full health it was inevitable that the team would return Cormier back to the AHL.
