Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets are taking the day off after losing yesterday’s afternoon contest to the Blues.  The team won’t have another game again until the Tampa Bay Lightning come to town to play a game on Friday.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Blues’ game-winning goal-scorer ‘might be at a different level.  (Paywall)  Tarasenko was simply lights out against the Jets.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Blues leave Winnipeg with hard-fought win.  (Paywall)  While fans have discussed a variety of potential targets for the Jets animus you have to think St. Louis and Winnipeg just put on a good tilt each and every time they play. 

Winnipeg Sun:  Trouba could get call from NHL over hit.  He plays a physical style of game but he really isn’t a head hunter.  Guess we will find out if he is going to be hearing from the Department of Player Safety.
