Jets news:

Global News:  $400M True North Square back on track after mayor, Chipman meet.  Based on the number of Jets fans who were trying to find a spot to watch the playoff games somewhere outdoors this should come as welcome news.

Illegal Curve:  Which Jets UFA forward from 2014/15 would you like Winnipeg to sign?  Not surprisingly Stafford and Frolik are the top two players as selected by readers.

Illegal Curve:  Tobias Enstrom & Adam Pardy undergo successful surgeries.  Jets sent out a release that the two defencemen underwent surgery the other day.

Prospect news:

Winnipeg Free Press:   Petan letting the playoffs ride.  Every time fans see 5’9″ Tyler Johnson for the Tampa Bay Lightning score (and he has six times these playoffs) they think of similarly sized Nic Petan who is currently involved in the WHL playoffs but getting closer and closer to turning pro.

David Minuk

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
