Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Crisis Management.  Tim writes about the Pavelec and his conquering his St. Louis Blues demons.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Little hoping to be in Jets’ lineup on Saturday.  While fans may have been excited to see the Jets top centre on the ice yesterday at practice he was wearing an orange non-contact jersey.  While he expressed hope that he would play Saturday his coach wasn’t ready to make any announcements about Little’s return.

Winnipeg Sun:  Coach Paul Maurice blocking out public goalie debate.  Plenty to read in Paul’s column on the goalie situation in Winnipeg which always seems so dramatic despite attempts to reduce same.

Jets audio:

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Rona Roundtable.  Shane Hnidy recaps the Jets win over San Jose and discusses the players on the ice at Jets practice.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice scrum.  Little’s status?  Byfuglien’s status?  Is the home record a reflection on how the team is playing or does it have something to do with playing here?  His overview today.  Will the players who missed practice be available tomorrow?  Would it mean anything more to beat the Blues?  What does he like about Chris Thorburn and what kind of player is he?  How hard a balance is it to have players ‘willing to go’ with limitations of time?  His thoughts on the thousands of “goalie coaches” in the fan base?  How much has he been pushing/challenging Ondrej Pavelec?  His view on 3 on 3 overtime and a challenge by a coach.  Speaks on the delay of game challenge as well.  On losing the time out.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show.  Paul Edmonds joined the Big Show to explain Wheeler’s leadership role with the Jets, the play of his linemates, Drew Stafford and Mark Scheifele, and why the power forward has been the best Jet in the month of March.
