Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note:  The Jets flew to Minnesota following a tough 2-1 loss to Nashville last night to play their last game of this five game road trip.  They take on the Wild late this afternoon at Xcel Energy Center starting at 4 pm cst.  Be sure to stick with our comprehensive coverage throughout the day and following the game.  As always ensure you follow @illegalcurve on twitter.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Giveaway gaffe part of the game.  No point beating yourself up over it.  Would be helpful it this team could put the puck in the net as they now have 34 goals in 18 games.  That is the least in the Western Conference (nine behind the second last Oilers).

Winnipeg Sun:  Trouba’s mistake costs Jets game.  It was a tough play and an unlucky bounce.  Has to be hard to have left Nashville without any points.

Globe and Mail:  Predators defeat Jets with late third period goal.  Always big to get a clean two points against a division rival.

The Tennessean:  Predators edge Jets.  Read the game story from the other side.

Ottawa Sun: Garrioch’s Sunday Column.  Once again Jets are in the news as it appears the Winnipeg’s GM is making some calls.
