Note:  The team won’t be enjoying last night’s win over the Islanders for too long as they practice at the Prudential Center in NJ today at noon.  They play against the Devils Thursday night.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets crash Islanders’ party.  It wasn’t the prettiest of victories but in the end you add the two points to the bank and move on to the next destination.  Ed breaks down the game in this article.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Men without hats.  As was calculated by Michael Remis it has been 1410 days since the last hat trick in this organization and fans would like to see one.  It came oh so close last night with the Jets captain having a chance to bury an empty netter but he came up just short.  Fans would likely prefer it come at MTS Centre so they can properly toss their hats onto the ice.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler & Lawless (audio).  Travis Yost discussed the Jets possession stats. Yost calls for a change in net if the Jets are to make a strong playoff push, saying it’s tough for goalies to improve on years of similar numbers.
