Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: No sweat, Stuart back on ice soon. Sounds like it is relatively minor.
Winnipeg Free Press: Bogo’s goal is to stay healthy all season. For the Jets to have any hope at the post season they need him to be healthy and to show some improvement in his game.
Winnipeg Free Press: Maurice has Buff’s back. There were a lot of platitudes being thrown the defenceman turned forward yesterday by his head coach.
Winnipeg Sun: Byfuglien ready for full season in hybrid role with Jets. I listened to the audio (you can listen by following link below) and he didn’t seem coy to me in his preference in playing defence. I suspect if the coach can hybridize the position it would make Byfuglien happier but it is clear that he wants to play D.
Winnipeg Sun: Clitsome eager to get back in action. You can tell that he is very ready to get back into the flow of game play after his extended absence from the lineup.
Day 2 of Training Camp audio:
Team White: Dustin Byfuglien.
Team Blue: Grant Clitsome.
Coach Maurice: Reflections on Day 2 of camp.
