Winnipeg Jets Mathieu Perreault has a concussion and is out indefinitely

Mathieu Perreault hit an edge and took a nasty fall backwards into the boards during the 2nd period of the afternoon contest against the Ducks on Sunday.  He laid motionless on the ice for a few moments and eventually with the help of his teammates was able to get to the bench and then training staff took him into the room.

Today following skate coach Maurice indicated that Perreault has a concussion and is out indefinitely.  The Jets bench boss indicated that “he (Perreault) has to go though the protocol and I don’t have any timeline on that.”
