Winnipeg Jets Mark Scheifele will not return to tonight’s game due to a lower-body injury

The Jets and Hawks are playing a sleepy game tonight in Winnipeg although the home team got a bit of a wake up call to start the 2nd period as Mark Scheifele left the ice, appearing to favour his left leg as the play pushed into their end.

The Jets quickly announced he was done for the night with a lower-body injury.

Update:

No update from Jets head coach Rick Bowness after the game other to say he will be evaluated tomorrow.
