Winnipeg Jets make minor league trade with the Vegas Golden Knights

The Jets and Golden Knights made a minor league deal today with Vegas sending Winnipeg veteran defenceman Jimmy Oligny (fifth pro season) who has been with their minor league affiliate Chicago.  In 16 AHL games he has zero goals and one assist.  In return the Golden Knights will receive future considerations.

Meanwhile shortly after the above trade was announced the Jets minor league affiliate Manitoba announced that they had sent forward Tye McGinn to the aforementioned Chicago Wolves.  In 26 games with the Moose he had two goals and four assists.  He too was traded for future considerations.
