Winnipeg Jets make 5 more training camp roster cuts

The Jets have the day off on the ice but didn’t mean that they weren’t working behind the scenes.  Today the roster was reduced a further five players.

Eric O’Dell
Ivan Telegin
Josh Morrissey
Andrew Gordon

Josh Morrissey will be heading back to Prince Albert of the WHL.  The remaining four players are heading to St. John’s.  Only Andrew Gordon has to clear waivers.

There are now 27 players left in camp:

Forwards (15):

Evander Kane, James Wright, Jim Slater, Chris Thorburn, Eric Tangradi, Devin Setoguchi, Mark Scheifele, Anthony Peluso, Andrew Ladd, Bryan Little, Blake Wheeler, Patrice Cormier, Olli Jokinen, Matt Halischuk,  and Michael Frolik.

Defencemen (9):

Jacob Trouba, Zach Redmond, Zach Bogosian, Adam Pardy, Paul Postma, Toby Enstrom, Mark Stuart, Grant Clitsome, Dustin Byfuglien.

Goalies (3):

Eddie Pasquale, Ondrej Pavelec, Al Montoya.

Opening Day Roster will be 23 players which means that the roster will be reduced by a further four players.
