As if the Jets blue line injuries couldn’t get any worse Jets head coach Paul Maurice just announced that the team would be without the services of stud defencman Jacob Trouba until sometime in February.  He said it was an upper body injury and that surgery will not be required.

During his presser he did say “…when I got the text yesterday about six weeks I was happy because the other part of that was far worse……so Jacob is coming back, we believe, at some point this year…”

Winnipeg Free Press reporter Ed Tait from the Maurice scrum tweeted this:

“Maurice on the D inj: Bogo, Enstrom, Trouba will be back on diff timelines. Each time 1 comes back it will be like Christmas”.
