Steady blueline presence Dylan DeMelo was lost to the Winnipeg Jets in his first shift of the first period of the first game against the Habs in round 2 as the team announced he was done for the evening with a lower-body injury.
DeMelo played his first shift at the :29 second mark which ended at 1:02. Here is a video of where it appears the injury occurred:
Tough blow for Winnipeg who began the game without Paul Stastny.

The update is that there was no update from Jets head coach Paul Maurice saying he’ll have more information tomorrow.
