Winnipeg Jets loan Moose captain Mason Shaw to Team Canada for the Spengler Cup

Two years ago it was Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic heading to Switzerland to play for Team Canada at the Spengler Cup and today it will be Moose captain Mason Shaw who is heading over it was announced.

Shaw is in his second season with the Jets organization. He was named captain for the 2025-26 season.

He has six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 28 games for Manitoba this season.
