We learned today that right shot defenceman Dylan Coghlan had cleared waivers and could be assigned to the Moose. We also saw last night the return of Nikolaj Ehlers from IR which left Nikita Chibrikov on the outside looking in.

The Jets announced this afternoon that they have loaned the pair to the Moose.
This is great news for the AHL club of Manitoba who has been mired in a losing slump (0-7-0-1) and will be aided by these two. Coghlan will add some much needed veteran depth on the right side for the Moose with 192 AHL games under his belt in addition to 107 NHL contests.
Up front Chibrikov returns to the Moose with a ton of confidence after scoring two goals and adding an assist in four games with Winnipeg. He remains the leading scorer in Manitoba with 13 points (5G 8A) in 19 games.
