Winnipeg Jets lay an egg in Vancouver as the Canucks take it 6-2

Some of the Jets players and goalie Connor Hellebuyck will burn the tape of that game as they didn’t play their crispiest game and they drop it to a desperate Canucks team by a final score of 6-2 failing to get to 100 points.

Notable:

Kyle Connor played in his 600th NHL game. He’s played the sixth most games of anyone wearing a Jets 2.0 jersey.

The Jets got some vintage Nikolaj Ehlers this evening including this play which resulted in a goal and this one which almost tied the game.

New(ish) defenceman Luke Schenn picked up his first point as a member of Winnipeg on the second goal of the game which was Alex Iafallo‘s 11th of the season.

Winnipeg was lucky to avoid some serious injury trouble. First Josh Morrissey blocked a shot and had to walk it off down the tunnel. This was followed by Dylan DeMelo faceplanting into the boards. Both continued to play.

Multi Point Game:

None.
