Winnipeg Jets launch Rewards Loyalty Program

Jets announce the launch of “Jets Rewards”, a loyalty rewards program. First comprehensive loyalty rewards program for Canadian NHL teams.

From the Jets:

True North Sports & Entertainment and the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club today launched “Jets Rewards”, a comprehensive loyalty rewards program designed to reward Season Seat Holders, Wait List Members and Registered Share Partners with the opportunity to earn points redeemable for unique benefits and experiences.

The program allows Jets Rewards members to earn “Jets Points” for their season seat investment, attending and arriving early to games, and shopping at Jets Gear, to name a few. Jets Points are then redeemed for exclusive benefits, including once-in-a-lifetime experiences, auction items, autographed memorabilia and special promotional offers. New rewards and experiences will be introduced throughout the season. The more active these groups are with the Winnipeg Jets, the more points they will earn in return. Season Seat Holders can also share points with their Registered Share Partners who will receive their own card and be able to participate in the program.

“Jets Rewards is truly a leading edge program for us that will benefit and appeal to all Season Seat Holders, Wait List Members and Registered Share Partners.” said Jim Ludlow, President & CEO of True North Sports & Entertainment. “Our fans are some the loudest and most loyal in the NHL. We wanted to thank these groups for their passion and loyalty and this program was the absolute best way to do that. Points are redeemable for just about anything a fan could want, but most importantly, what is most meaningful to them personally. From watching warm-up from the team bench to VIP trips to NHL marquee events, there is something for everyone.”

The rewards program technology is provided by E Group Inc., a Minneapolis-based marketing agency which specializes in engagement strategies, loyalty programs and sports marketing across professional sports leagues including the NHL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, MLS and NASCAR. This best-in-class platform is leading edge in professional sports and the Jets become the ele0venth professional sports team to launch E Group’s rewards platform. Jets Rewards is the first comprehensive loyalty rewards program of its kind among NHL teams in Canada.

Jets Rewards is another series of firsts for the Winnipeg Jets as in September the organization was the first NHL team in Canada to utilize a mobile ticketing platform for account management and venue access. Using their mobile devices, Jets Season Seat Holders can now access their tickets on any smartphone or mobile device with internet access. By accessing the online account manager website, Winnipeg Jets account holders can now display their tickets directly on their mobile device, which can then be scanned for entry into MTS Centre. Additionally, users can also print tickets and transfer tickets to friends from their mobile device.

“As we continue to develop a loyal relationship with our fans, our ultimate goal is to provide them with the most digitally advanced and leading-edge ways to manage their accounts, access our building and experience our team through unique rewards and benefits.” said Jim Ludlow.
