Winnipeg Jets Josh Morrissey takes part in the Jets Skills Competition

After the Jets win on Saturday bench boss Paul Maurice indicated that Josh Morrissey “should be fine”.  The Jets had the day off on Sunday and with the Jets not skating today until the Skills Competition it would be our first opportunity to see if he would participate in the event.  He was a full participant including in the Hardest Shot event and the Breakaway competition.

Laurent Brossoit who left and wanted to return in the 3rd period also took part in the event at Bell MTS Place.

The only absence from the trio of questionable players after Saturday night’s game was Nathan Beaulieu who did not take part.

Also notable was Jets captain Blake Wheeler, who was present on the bench in street clothes, but did not take part.
