Winnipeg Jets Josh Morrissey placed into NHL’s COVID-19 protocols

The Jets announced eight moves ahead of tonight’s game against the Panthers and the biggest of them was the news that Josh Morrissey had been placed into NHL’s COVID-19 protocols. That’s a huge loss for Winnipeg given how well number 44 has been playing and how many minutes he is relied upon to play in a game (averaging 25 minutes the last five games).

With the news he joins Dominic Toninato and assistant coach Charlie Huddy who were placed into protocol earlier today.
