Winnipeg Jets Josh Morrissey & Columbus Blue Jackets Max Domi each fined $5K

It was a feisty affair last night in Columbus between two teams that don’t have any real connection aside from the blockbuster trade between the Jets and Blue Jackets in January of 2021 when Patrik Laine and Jack Roslovic were dealt for Pierre-Luc Dubois and a 2022 third round pick. However there were plenty of incidents in the game including Max Domi pummeling Evgeny Svechnikov:

And when the Jackets closed out the game with an empty net goal Winnipeg Dman Josh Morrissey laying the lumber on Alexandre Texier.

End result was Player Safety fining both players $5,000.00 for their respective infractions.
