Winnipeg Jets issue qualifying offers to six of their RFAs

In order to retain an RFAs negotiation rights qualifying offers needed to be tendered by today at 4 pm CT.  The Jets list of 11 RFAs included:  Patrik Laine, Andrew Copp, Kyle Connor, Nathan Beaulieu, Joe Morrow, Neal Pionk, Eric Comrie, Marko Dano, Jimmy Oligny, Nelson Nogier and Ken Appleby.

The Jets announced that they have made six qualifying offers to the following players:

G: Eric Comrie

D: Neal Pionk and Nelson Nogier.

F: Patrik Laine, Andrew Copp, Kyle Connor

If a player didn’t receive a qualifying offer than they automatically become a UFA on July 1st.  As we already knew this afternoon the Jets are not qualifying Nathan Beaulieu, Joe Morrow and Marko Dano as well as Moose goalie Ken Appleby and Moose defenceman Jimmy Oligny, who will all become free agents on Monday.

For more information on Qualifying Offers head over to CapFriendly who break it down quite nicely.
