Winnipeg Jets issue qualifying offers to most of their RFAs

The Jets had until 5 PM ET on October 7th to issue qualifying offers to their RFAs, which this season for the Jets consists of their Class of 2015 including:

Jansen Harkins
Jack Roslovic
Mason Appleton
Sami Niku

Not surprisingly the Jets qualified these four.

In addition to the above four players who have spent time with the NHL club there were three players who spent most of their time with the Moose including:

Michael Spacek
CJ Suess
Nelson Nogier.

Not unexpectedly the Jets have qualified Suess and Nogier.  Spacek, who was a member of that Class of 2015, fell out of favour this season which included his being reassigned by the Jets to the Ontario Reign (Kings farm club) back in March.

If a player doesn’t receive a qualifying offer than they automatically become a UFA.

For more information on Qualifying Offers head over to CapFriendly who break it down quite nicely.
