Winnipeg Jets Injury Update: Head coach Paul Maurice confirms Blake Wheeler has a concussion

While it seemed inevitable given the fact that Blake Wheeler was being treated as if he had a concussion even though it wasn’t official before the team left on the road trip after the hit he received on Monday by Brady Tkachuk.  However following the Jets 4-2 win over the Habs in Montreal this evening Jets head coach Paul Maurice confirmed that his captain has in fact been diagnosed with a concussion.

Wheeler has only missed five games due to injury since the Jets returned to Winnipeg.
