Winnipeg Jets Injury Update: Cole Perfetti still not skating and remains “aways away”

Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti last played back on February 17th in the first ever home game here in Winnipeg against the Seattle Kraken. In the 3rd period of the contest he took a hard hit from Jamie Oleksiak and was labeled as dealing with a “upper-body (injury) and he’ll be maybe a little longer than day-to-day.”

Today after morning skate interim head coach Dave Lowry was asked whether the talented forward was back skating to which he advised

“No he’s not skating. He’s still aways away.”

Tough news for the prospect who was looking more and more comfortable in an everyday NHL role.
