The Jets got a lot of players back for today’s practice in Winnipeg but two players missing were CJ Suess and Evgeny Svechnikov. Suess blocked a shot with his hand in Detroit on Thursday and it wasn’t clear what happened to Svechnikov.
Interim Jets head coach Dave Lowry provided an update on the pair following skate indicating:
CJ Suess has an upper-body injury which could be longer than day-to-day. Evgeny Svechnikov also has an upper-body injury, was listed as day-to-day (although he said they are still getting a timeline).
Jets practice again on Monday so we shall see if there is any movement.
He's closing in on his first game since January 13th.
The 2024 2nd rounder is in Winnipeg where he'll spend the rest of the season…
