Winnipeg Jets Injury Update: Ben Chiarot out with an upper-body injury

Ben Chiarot was having himself quite the game on Sunday against the Wild which included scoring a nice goal after a nifty play to put the Jets ahead by three after 20 minutes.  But he wasn’t on the bench to finish the game for Winnipeg (he took his last shift about midway through the 3rd period) and Monday morning the team recalled Nelson Nogier on an emergency basis from the Manitoba Moose.

Interestingly Chiarot took the skate for the Jets on Monday but today he wasn’t out on the ice for morning skate at the MTS Centre as the team gets ready to face the Flyers tonight.  Coach Maurice later confirmed he is out of the lineup with an upper-body injury and is day-to-day.
