Doesn’t seem like we can go a day around here without an update to the previous day’s Jets Injury Report. Today would prove no different although while the team did add one to the list of skating wounded in Nic Petan it sounds like Bryan Little is close to coming off of it. Here is what coach Maurice had to say following skate:
On Bryan Little: “We are going to make that decision tomorrow morning. He got through today, felt real strong, he’s been cleared full contact, he’s been back on the ice skating, so if he comes back to the rink tomorrow feeling as strong as he leaves the rink today, then there is a good chance he will be in the lineup.”
Nic Petan: “He will be day-to-day. I think it is going to be pushing closer to seven of em’. It’s not major but it will keep him out of the lineup tomorrow.”
Mathieu Perreault: “He’s two or three days behind Bryan we hope and that’s assuming everything feels good. We’ve had not setbacks in the injury we’ve just had it plateau where he started to feel better and it just stayed there for an awfully long time and now it’s back to feeling good. He will go from where he is today, get a chance to practice a little bit more leading into the weekend. He will go from that to a full contact jersey and then after that it will be a few days.”
