It seems like 24 hrs after I do an Injury Report we end up with additional information the following day and today proved no different. As I posted this morning the Jets removed Drew Stafford from injured reserve. We also learned that Tyler Myers who has been out of the lineup since a game against the Avalanche was added to the IR by Winnipeg retroactive to November 11th.
Coach Maurice also updated the status of a couple of his players during today’s morning skate scrum:
Kyle Connor: “Kyle gets some contact in here today. We will see how he handles that. He might be the first guy back.”
Bryan Little: “Bryan is skating now daily with us. Still think that’s a week away anyway, but there is a window there.”
The other players according to the Jets bench boss are “aren’t on our radar for quick to return”. Those other players presumably are Myers and Perreault as Joel Armia and Shawn Matthias are not expected to return until middle of December to January.
