Last week’s list of walking wounded around the MTS Centre has expanded with the addition of a few new players (list from the team) including:
Bryan Little* (16 games missed) Lower Body (Indefinite) Oct. 13 vs. CAR
Drew Stafford* (11 games missed) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Oct. 25 at DAL
Mark Stuart (8 games missed) Lower Body (Day-to-Day) Oct. 30 vs. BUF
Shawn Matthias* (7 games missed) Lower Body (Indefinite) Nov. 1 vs. WSH
Mathieu Perreault* (6 games missed) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Nov. 3 at WSH
Joel Armia* (6 games missed) Lower Body (Indefinite) Nov. 3 at WSH
Tyler Myers (1 game missed) Lower Body (Day-to-Day) Nov. 13 vs. LAK
Alexander Burmistrov (1 game missed) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Nov. 13 vs. LAK
And you can add to the above list Kyle Connor who the Jets have placed on IR this morning with an upper body injury. We won’t know the severity of this injury until we hear from coach Maurice following morning skate tomorrow at the MTS Centre. Alexander Burmistrov’s injury is a mystery at this time and again we should have an idea tomorrow what his status moving forward will be for the Jets.
Based on coach Maurice’s comments last week it would appear that Drew Stafford is likely the first forward back on the ice with Mathieu Perreault and Bryan Little being a little further out although those timelines remain unknown at this time.
