However coach Maurice, following skate at MTS Centre, provided an update on a number of players who are dealing with ailments:
Paul Postma:
“Out. Lower body. Day-to-day”.
Shawn Matthias:
“Had a pre-existing labral tear that he’s been trying to deal with and it just got to the point where he can’t. So he is going to have surgery on that.”
Tobias Enstrom:
“Still probably longer than day-to-day. He’s still not back, really skating well.”
Tyler Myers:
“Is making some improvements. We are not far off. We are thinking about getting him into consecutive days of skating so that’s positive.
Jacob Trouba:
“Swelling came down. He’s probably later than day-to-day as well. We are probably looking at another week of rehab before we get him back.”
