Since the last Injury Report the Jets have gotten Mathieu Perreault back and are getting closer to having a healthy squad although for now the list of skating wounded remains high.  Here is the list as of today’s count:

Tyler Myers* (39) Lower Body (Day-to-Day)  Nov. 11 vs. COL
Marko Dano* (17) Lower Body (Week-to-Week) Dec. 29 vs. CBJ
Ben Chiarot* (11) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Jan. 11 vs. MTL
Drew Stafford* (6) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Jan. 21 vs STL

Total Man Games Lost:  221.  *Injured reserve.

Coach Maurice spoke following skate at the MTS Centre and this is what he had to say about the remaining injured players:

Ben Chiarot:

“Back full contact, first practice.  He is still a few practices away for me from being in consideration.”

Drew Stafford:

“That’s a first full on hard tug so he will be available tomorrow if he comes back to the rink the way he leaves today.”

Marko Dano:

“Skated this morning for the first time and looked good.  We’ll push him harder.  He still has to get to contact and then conditioning as well.”

Tyler Myers:

“We’ll have something probably in the next few days.”
