The list of skating wounded has increased since our last full injury report.  Yesterday in advance of the game against the Sharks coach Maurice provided updates on four of his injured players on this list.

Tyler Myers* (35) Lower Body (Day-to-Day)  Nov. 11 vs. COL
Marko Dano* (13) Lower Body (Week-to-Week) Dec. 29 vs. CBJ
Ben Chiarot* (7) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Jan. 11 vs. MTL
Drew Stafford* (2) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Jan. 21 vs STL
Mathieu Perreault* (1) Upper Body (Day-to-Day) Jan. 24 vs ANA

Total Man Games Lost:  203.  *Injured reserve.

This is what the Jets bench boss had to say about Mathieu Perreault, Drew Stafford, Marko Dano and Ben Chiarot.

On Mathieu Perreault:

“He won’t play before the break and I don’t have a time frame for ya after the break.”

On Drew Stafford:

“We’re hopeful that after the (All-Star) break he’ll be fairly close.  We don’t think this is a long-term injury.  Slightly beyond day-to-day.  Hoping that within a week of the break he can be back in our lineup.”

On Mark Dano:

“He’s up moving around, he’s training now, so he is getting better.”

On Ben Chiarot:

“Benny is slowly improving.”

The Jets travelled today so we will have to wait for tomorrow before we get an update on Tobias Enstrom and whether he will be added to this list since he didn’t finish the game after he fell awkwardly into the boards last night during the 2nd period against the Sharks.  Update:  While we don’t have news on Enstrom the team has recalled Brian Strait from the Moose.
