This is what the Jets bench boss had to say about Patrik Laine, Drew Stafford and Tyler Myers.
Patrik Laine:
“He got a real good old fashioned tug today. That was a hard practice for anybody. Most importantly we look at tomorrow and how he feels off that. So he had a full practice yesterday, small group, but no restrictions. The kind of practice that nobody enjoys today and we just keep going from there.”
“We talked this morning he wasn’t going tomorrow (Monday). Even a guy that had no injury I wouldn’t have had him do today’s practice and then go into back to back. I guess that’s a possibility. But as you know this we are waiting for the waiting for the next day to make sure. If he comes into the rink and feels really strong then we will start thinking of the next night.”
Drew Stafford:
“Day to day. Possibly not as significant as we feared last night so day to day. He’s not going tomorrow.”
Tyler Myers:
“He’s still very much dealing with his family matter. He’s in for (physical) rehab and we like to think he’s making a whole lot of progress with it but its such small increments that I have to say its status quo.”
