Winnipeg Jets Injury News: Mark Scheifele out 6-8 weeks with upper-body injury

The Jets won the battle but may have lost the war when their top centre Mark Scheifele, was lost in the 2nd period of the game against the Oilers.  Today, Jets coach Paul Maurice indicated that his top centre will be out 6-8 weeks with an upper-body injury.  For now Wheeler moves to the middle with Perreault jumping up to the 2nd line.  Coach Maurice indicated that he wasn’t planning a recall from the Moose meaning he will allow Marko Dano or Shawn Matthias fill the spot on the 4th line.
