Winnipeg Jets 2017-18 season/home opener is against the Toronto Maple Leafs

The Jets home opener will be October 4th against the Toronto Maple Leafs as the Laine vs. Matthews drama kicks off early in their sophomore season in the NHL.  The rest of the Jets regular season schedule will be released tomorrow at 2 pm CT.  They are calling this the home opener not season opener but as the NHL has now released all other teams home openers, it is clear this game against Toronto will serve as both the Jets home and season opener.

The Flames have tweeted out that they will face the Jets in their home opener on October 7th so it will be a short stint at home for Winnipeg.

In case you missed it here is the Jets entire pre-season schedule.
